On March 2013, Muslim Aid Indonesia conducted the Rehabilitation of Mangrove Forests Workshop collaborated with Social Agency, Forestry Agency, Marine and Fishery Agency also TAGANA of East Aceh.
This Workshop facilitated by LEBAH, one of LSM that taking care of wetlands, and held in Leuge Village, Peureulak Sub District, East Aceh. Leuge Village is the one of Coastal area that vulnerable to the threat of big level rise on a bigger scale.
Muslim Aid Indonesia conducted the Fermentation Fodder Process Training to the Goat Farmer in Yogyakarta. This training purpose is to improve the group farmer’s knowledge and capability on developing their livestock activities which impact to their future life both economic and social.
This Training participated by 46 goat farmer that supported by Muslim Aid Indonesia from Mriyan Hamlet, Timbulharjo Village, Sewon Sub District and Kepuh Kulon Hamlet, Wirokerten Village, Banguntapan Sub District – Bantul District, Yogyakarta.
Muslim Aid intends on supporting and helping to improve the community’s capacity and ability to achieve a decent life through the extension of Economic Empowerment/ Microfinance Programme.
One of Muslim Aid Indonesia’s efforts on developing the Women Capacity especially women from Baleharjo Village – Gunung Kidul is through conducted the “Women Empowerment as the small/Home Industry through Sewing Training” on March 2013 which collaborated with Social Ministry of Republic of Indonesia.
